Q: What is The Employment Vault?
A: The Employment Vault is an employment confirmation service provider to Employers and Verifiers that allows these entities to obtain the information requested in a manner that is simple, efficient and secure. We process both current and past employment requests.  

Q: What employment information will we confirm?
A: We offer three types of confirmations: Past Employment Confirmation: Company, start and end date and job title. Current Employment Confirmation: Company, start date and job title. Income Confirmation: Company, start date, job title and pay rate.

Q: Who is a Verifier?
A: A Verifier is a person or organization that is trying to obtain a person’s employment confirmation or income confirmation in order to provide that person with products or services. Requestors of past employment confirmations include such organizations as: Landlords, Utility companies, Lending institutions, Background Investigations and Potential Employers  

Q: Who is an Employee?
A: An Employee is a person who works or has worked for a participating employer and whose employment confirmation is being requested.  

Q: Who is an Employer?
A: An Employer is an organization that uses our services to provide past employment confirmation and income information about its employees.  

Q: Who can request confirmation information?
A: Anyone with a permissible purpose. To confirm income and/or employment confirmation the employee must release this via the employee section of the website.  

Q: What if I feel that information in the past employment confirmation report is erroneous?
A: If you believe that information is missing or inaccurate on the past employment confirmation report, Please Contact our customer service support@theemploymentvault.com. Please provide a detailed explanation of the issue and we will work with the previous employer to address the issue.  

Q: What if I feel that information in the current employment confirmation report is erroneous?
A: Please check “Data Date” on report. If that date is prior to a change in your employment status please request a new report. If you still believe the information is inaccurate please contact your HR department.  
Q: Are there any costs to the Employers?
A: Yes, there is a small setup and small annual maintenance fee.  

Q: Are there any costs to the Employees?
A: No.  

Q: Are there any costs to the Verifiers for current employment?
A: Yes, there is a small credit card fee to insure identity of who is requesting the information.    

Q: Are there any costs to the Verifiers for past employment?
A: Yes, there is a small credit card fee to insure identity of who is requesting the information.  

Q: Does The Employment Vault process past employment confirmations for Social and Human Services?
